Environmental Report for 2023 has been published
In our annual environmental report, we provide information about the significant environmental impacts resulting from port operations and the results of our long-term environmental efforts.
Our goal is to minimize the environmental effects of our operations on land, at sea, and in the air. In addition to the unique nature of the Baltic Sea and the Archipelago Sea, we pay special attention to the requirements of the nearby and expanding settlements. This includes efforts to reduce and redirect traffic-related nuisances smoothly around the populated areas.
The report highlights initiatives such as reducing the environmental impact of dredging on water systems and our own climate actions as part of the Turku city climate team.
