Managing Director Erik Söderholm was elected to the Board of the Finnish Port Association
The annual general meeting of the Finnish Port Association elected a new board of directors on 16th September. Our Managing Director Erik Söderholm was elected as a member of the board. Torbjörn Witting, CEO of Port of Kokkola Ltd, will continue as Chairman of the Board, and Hannu Asumalahti, CEO of Port of Rauma Ltd, will contin-ue as Deputy Chairman.
The Finnish Port Association represents Finland’s coastal and inland port authorities. There are 29 member ports, which include not only freight ports but also all international passenger ports. The Finnish Port Association is also the representative of Finnish ports in the European Seaports Organisation ESPO.
