This year Finland is celebrating 100 years of independence. To honor the anniversary we publish a series of photos from the Port of Turku archives themed Throwback Thursday. The Port of Turku Calendar is a familiar sight for many in the logistics companies. The calendar has been published since 1987 and so celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. In this picture is the very first calendar. And as the picture shows, also then was time important; even departure times for passenger, car and ro-ro ferries had been printed on the calendar.
