The Port of Turku has prepared for preventing the spreading of the coronavirus. The Port follows the instructions of various authorities and those of the City of Turku. In order to prevent the coronavirus from spreading the following measures are in effect until further notice.

Berths in the Port of Turku

The berths are organised in the Port of Turku in such a way that vessel traffic flows safely and efficiently. The turnaround time of ships in the Port of Turku is short, because there are plenty of berths and the cargo handling services are efficient. Our goal is above all to provide our customers with cost-efficient logistics solutions for imports and exports. The berths are located close to the warehousing and added value services, which allows for short transfers from the Port to distribution hubs. The short distance generates significant savings at yearly level.
