News in the Ferry Terminal Turku project – October 2025
Main structure work at the joint terminal is progressing on schedule
The structural work at the terminal site has proceeded as planned. Façade work will continue during the autumn, and currently, thermal element and glass wall installations are underway. Roofing work is scheduled to begin in week 44.
Electrical and HVAC+sprinkler installations at the terminal are also progressing as planned.
The terminal is being built by Skanska Talonrakennus Oy. Electrical and HVAC work is carried out by Are Oy.
Construction of the S1 pier is progressing – completion in summer 2026
The construction site of the S1 pier is progressing as planned. Overall, the site is currently 60% complete. The reinforcement and concrete works for the pier sections, as well as the stormwater dis-charge well, are currently underway.
The goal is to complete the S1 pier in summer 2026. The pier is being built by Terramare Oy.
