Located north of the passenger harbour, the Linnanaukko area houses many terminal warehouses that serve unit cargo traffic, steel, paper and timber transports and selected bulk transports. The Port?s largest private lorry terminals are also located there. Completed in autumn 2002, the transhipment terminal for train ferry traffic enables loading of carriages in all weather conditions.
