The Free Zone Company of Turku has an area of more than 20 hectares in the immediate vicinity of the Port. There are many warehouses for different needs: for instance, the majority of new cars imported to Turku arrive via the Free Zone Company.

A land area of about 37 hectares is reserved for the use of the Port?s customers in the nearby Ovako area. At present, there are terminal warehouses, a lorry terminal and metal industry in the area, and the services are continuously being developed.
