The Port's own operations are developed in long-term partnership co-operation with the leading logistics actors. The goal of commercial and practical co-operation is to strengthen the position of the whole of the Turku region as a logistics hub whose connections and services clearly provide added value to the companies operating in the area. As a result of that the Port of Turku holds an important place in Finland's foreign trade. Both import and export cargo flows carried via Turku are continuously growing and increasing the vitality of economic life in the whole region. The success of business life reflects positively to the well-being and employment rate of the whole region.
