Responsibility for operations and the environment

The Port of Turku is aware of its social responsibility and operates accordingly. The Port's goal is to maximise the safety of people and cargo and minimise the environmental hazards in all its operations. The Port of Turku is a pioneer of its field in both sectors, in terms of the ways of working and the technology used. The Port ensures its ability to follow the principles of social responsibility trough cost-efficient operations, which guarantees a strong financial position and allows for continuous development of the operations for the benefit of all of the Port's interest groups.
